Congratulations to UVA alum, Dr. Justin Walsh!
UVa alumn, Dr. Justin Walsh (Associate Professor at Chapman University), along with his co-principal investigator Dr. Alice Gorman (Flinders University in Australia) won the Archaeological Institute of America’s 2023 Award for Outstanding Work in Digital Archaeology for their project, Sampling Quadrangle Assemblages Research Experiment (SQuARE), in which they recently completed the first archaeological study ever performed outside the Earth.
