Sofia Sejas Pary

PhD Student, Anthropology

My main interests are household archaeology, and archaeology of communities in the South Central Andes communities. My research experience is grounded on archaeological methods applied to material culture collections in order to discuss how Andean communities organized and structured centralized polities.  My previous research work was in the Bolivian Formative Period now I will move to the pre-Inka Early Late Regional Developments. I´m particularly interested in the archaeology of daily life in the "señorio" societies in the Andes, specifically in the Señorio Qaraqara-Charka in the Bolivian altiplano.
