MA Student, Anthropology
My research focuses on how displaced groups in the Mid-Atlantic and Appalachian regions accessed agency, identity, and power through their material items. I am also interested in comparative household archaeology within small landscapes, specifically how gender, race, and socioeconomic status are represented through quotidian artifacts.
I am passionate about the care and management of archaeological materials post-excavation, especially with issues related to the curation crisis, ethical collections management, and repatriation.
